Canadian screen actress best recognized for her performance on Lost Girl as Bo Dennis. Her first appearance was on CBS' Blood & Treasure, from 2019 onwards. Earthstorm (2006) and The Perfect Neighbor (2005). Silk was born in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada, her father being Peter Silk who is an academic. Silk's wife Ilkay is an actor also a director and producer as well as playwright. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Some of Annas first memories are of playing in rehearsals for her plays and watching her mother perform. Silk appeared in several commercials while a young child. She was in 1997 when she graduated with an undergraduate diploma in the field of theater from St. Thomas University. Theatre St. Thomas was involved in at minimum two earlier productions of theatre. These included Seven Menus (1997) and The Kitchen (1998). They have two sons named Samuel as well as Levi. In 2009, she got the lead role of Bo Dennis a succubus in the Canadian television show Lost Girl. CNN named her portrayal of Bo and Lauren in their relationship as lovers of the same sexe in Lost Girl one of their all-time favorite TV couples. E! declared them the top Television Couples in 2013.
