Akerman's performance on screen as the character Laurie Jupiter /Silk Spectre as a character in Watchmen is well-known. Akerman played Lara Axelrod on the notorious show on TV called Billions. She is also notable for having appeared in naked scenes of the movies Guardians and Deplorability Youthster. Akerman began her career modeling before moving into acting.
