She appeared in 2 episodes of Showtime's Weeds with Mary Louise Parker. The roles she played included Judy Kramer as a Fox 2005 show Point Pleasant, and Marcy as a character in Dawson's Creek. She was Marina Cooper for three years in Guiding Light the role which earned her a 2003 Soap Opera Digest Award nomination as Outstanding Newcomer. Dollar appeared in ABC's Women's Murder Club as Cindy Thomas between 2007 and 2008. Dollar starred as Happy Valley, a pilot for NBC in the year 2012. The show was never taken on.
